The St. James Home & School Association is a parent organization that supports the school by promoting a sense of community between the parent body and the school (administrators, teachers, and board members). The Home & School Association funds activities and enhancements to the school outside of the school’s budget.
Every SJS parent or guardian is automatically a member of St. James Home & School Association and is encouraged to take on an active role. Parents take part by volunteering their time in classrooms, welcoming new families, helping in the library and lunchroom, organizing fundraisers, coordinating community service projects and by celebrating SJS faculty and staff by showing their appreciation and support for them. Through these and other activities, parents donate 8000+ hours of their time to St. James School each year.
